During a little walk I had around Bergen today I picked up my favourite magazine and some watermelon. I guess I will be stuck in my reading corner for a little while. The Gentlewoman always has a lot of good articles to read.

Have you ever read The Gentlewoman?

Whatever you are, be a good one.

I came across an article a few weeks ago. Why it caught my eye I am not really sure about, but it struck a nerve in me.

Being the perfectionist- list-making person that I am this was a great article for me and the topic not very irrelevant for my life just about now.

The article can be found here

I feel tired, indolent, doubtful and I am fully aware of this, but I have chosen not to take action and do something about it, but like I said; this article struck something in me and now it is time to make some changes. I am in no way unhappy, but I want to improve the quality of my life. Life for me, my wants and needs. Make changes and choices that will give me a life I can live, not just because I am alive and have commitments, but because I enjoy every part of my life.

Since I read the text I have been contemplating for a couple of weeks if I should start this blog. But since I truly enjoy writing and feel that this blog can be a part of this process I am willing to give it a go!

If you have read this far, thank you and I hope you will find some inspiration or at least get something out of my writing.

This will be a slow process to increase my activity, knowledge, happiness and remove or lower any negative habits or parts of my life. Taking inspiration from the article I´ll try and make consequent steps to achieve this. I have chosen some steps that I want to incorporate into my daily life.

Knowing what makes me happy and do more of this
Learn what makes me unhappy and avoid and remove this from my daily life
Quit my current study and apply for what I really want to work with.
Eat clean and incorporate exercise into my life to secure a long and healthy life
Create  a good and healthy relationship with my finances

I feel that i have to make it a point to say that I have always been very satisfied with myself. Regardless of my social situation, weight, work and school situation. It is not necessarily myself I am making changes to, but my surroundings and things that can improve them.

The quote above by Abraham Lincoln is what I want to achieve. To become the best me that I can be.
I hope you will follow my journey for more happy and healthy me!
